The Staff Accountant will be responsible for:
- Producing accurate and timely balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Preparing journal entries, and monitoring and analyzing general ledger accounts
- Managing and processing central office expenses and allocations
- Participating in month-end and year-end close processes
- Working with the national credit card program
- Assisting in property acquisition/disposition journal entries and accounting system maintenance
- Tracking property mortgage and tax payments
Qualified candidates must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university
- 3 years of experience preferred
- Experience in monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Ability to process high volumes of expense allocations
- Experience booking journal entries and accruals
