TITLE: Intern
LINE OF BUSINESS/DIVISION: Conservation Acquisitions/Western Region
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt – Part-time up to 22.5 hours per week for a maximum of 12 weeks
REPORTS TO: VP & Regional Director, Southwest
NUMBER OF POSITIONS REPORTING TO THIS POSITION: None
LOCATION: Niwot, Colorado
DURATION: February 3 – April 30, 2025
JOB HIGHLIGHTS
We seek an energetic and flexible self-starter with knowledge and interest in the conservation space. The intern will work under the guidance of the VP & Regional Director, Southwest to assist with projects and initiatives.

- Support the Colorado Team members in Statewide Planning Analysis to help understand the latest planning efforts happening across Colorado. Develop a list of recommendations.
- Assist the Colorado Team members with Local and Statewide Funding Feasibility Study.
- Shadow project managers in 3-5 meetings with partners and/or landowners to learn about real estate transactions and how TCF strives to add value to our partnerships.
- Join project managers on occasional site visits to learn how they evaluate properties and consider the feasibility of protecting a specific parcel.
- Prepare background research and meeting agendas as needed
- Other work as assigned

- Ability to work at a desk for prolonged periods of time.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position pays $17/hour. (22.5-hour work week for a total of 12 weeks). This position does not include benefits.
