R. Baker & Son All Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage financial records for a diverse portfolio of entities, including real estate properties and marinas. The ideal candidate will have extensive retail bookkeeping experience, proficiency with QuickBooks, and a proven ability to manage financial data across multiple entities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate financial operations while collaborating with our accounting firm to support tax preparation and financial reporting.

• Collect and enter bills for various entities, ensuring accuracy and proper coding.
• Create and manage check runs to ensure timely and efficient bill payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities.
• Collaborate with the accounting firm by providing necessary documentation for tax returns and financial reporting.
• Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Generate and analyze financial reports as needed.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in bookkeeping, preferably in retail or multi-entity environments.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (5 years required).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Other Skills:
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional accounting certifications or coursework is a plus.
