Job Overview

The Contractor Consultants, a rapidly growing roofing and waterproofing company in Queens, NY, is urgently seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to join our team. Specializing in commercial and industrial roofing, our projects are primarily new construction, with some restoration work. In this role, you'll be at the helm of managing complex roofing and façade projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and top-tier quality. Key Responsibilities

• Manage roofing and façade projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with contract scope, budget, and schedule.
• Interpret contracts, drawings, and specifications to identify and correct deviations.
• Develop project budgets, submittals, schedules, and procurement strategies.
• Interface with clients, GCs, engineers, architects, and city inspectors.
• Conduct pre-job safety assessments and oversee site safety throughout the project.
• Coordinate job meetings and maintain progress documentation.
• Track job costs and ensure timely closeouts, including warranties.
• Review and execute contracts, change orders, and compliance documentation.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within roofing or construction.
• Strong knowledge of IRMA, conventional, green roofs, pavers, masonry, and façade restoration.
• Extensive knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and regulatory requirements specific to the NYC market.
• Experience with submittals, schedules of value (SOV), and NYC roofing systems.
• Proficient in Procore, PlanSwift, BlueBeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and comfortable working on rooftops and visiting active job sites (approximately 50% field time).
• Valid driver's license and willingness to commute/relocate to Astoria, NY.
• Associate degree or higher preferred; Construction Management background a plus.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday through Friday with possible Saturday work as the project requires.
