Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and integrate PLC-based control systems using platforms such as Rockwell Automation Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View Studio, and PlantPAx.
- Troubleshoot and maintain industrial electrical systems, including relays, drives, starters, and network structures.
- Develop HMI applications and optimize control system interfaces for efficiency and ease of use.
- Work with Automation Direct, Schneider, Siemens, Rockwell, and Wonderware platforms.
- Write ladder logic, structured text, and function block programming for automation solutions.
- Create and interpret electrical schematics and control panel layouts using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with customers to identify needs, provide solutions, and build lasting business relationships.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, generating additional revenue streams for the company.
- Travel to client sites (up to 50 percent travel required) for installations, troubleshooting, and customer support.
- Two or more years of experience in Rockwell Automation PLC and HMI development (required).
- Two or more years of experience in system integration (required).
- Strong understanding of industrial control systems, including Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and network communication protocols.
- Hands-on experience with control panel design, wiring, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and create electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer support and project implementation (50 percent travel required).
- Required: Ability to commute or relocate to mid-Missouri before starting
