Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and estimate budget costs for residential and commercial construction projects.
- Study project plans, specifications, and requirements.
- Evaluate site conditions and identify potential costs or additions.
- Develop and present detailed budgets, proposals, and reports.
- Collaborate with property owners, contractors, and team members to ensure successful project execution.
- Stay current with local building codes, safety regulations, and construction advancements.
- Monitor ongoing projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
- Utilize Xactimate and other estimating tools for precision and efficiency.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to validate project details.
- Experience with Xactimate software is required.
- Minimum two-year degree in a related field; BSc/BA in construction or business management is preferred (experience may substitute for formal education).
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and ERP software.
- Knowledge of construction materials, labor costs, and safety standards.
- Excellent math skills, including algebra and geometry.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Experience in building code navigation and compliance.
