Key Responsibilities
- Cost Estimation : Develop accurate, detailed cost estimates for heavy civil projects, including underground utilities and storm drains.
- Scope Review : Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the full scope of work.
- Risk Analysis : Perform thorough risk and opportunity assessments for each estimate.
- Client Interface : Collaborate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to clarify details and make adjustments as needed.
- Vendor Relations : Build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
- Team Collaboration : Work with project managers to align estimates with schedules and logistics.
- Market Awareness : Stay updated on industry trends to maintain competitive estimating practices.
- Reporting : Prepare and present estimate reports and bids to management and clients.
