Key Responsibilities

• Project Estimation:
• Review and analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and documentation to develop precise time, cost, material, and labor estimates.
• Monitor and assess cost-effectiveness of projects and services, tracking actual costs relative to estimates as projects evolve.
• Site Visits:
• Conduct thorough site visits to gather data essential for accurate estimation and risk assessment.
• Bid Preparation:
• Develop and submit competitive and profitable bids, aligning closely with project requirements and client expectations.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients for scope and detail alignment.
• Negotiation:
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, presenting and negotiating with clients or subcontractors.
• Cost Analysis:
• Conduct detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis, employing advanced estimating techniques and market insights.
• Collaboration:
• Work with sales, construction, and procurement teams to ensure estimates are accurate and projects stay within budget.
  

Qualifications

• Experience:
• 5 years of estimating experience, including at least 2 years in industrial construction estimating; proficiency in commercial construction estimating.
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
• Skills:
• Proficient in estimating software (ProEst, BuildingConnected, Bluebeam, or similar platforms).
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to interpret blueprints and specifications with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Certifications:
• Professional certification (CPE from ASPE) advantageous but not required.

Work Schedule
