The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working with a variety of vehicles and machinery, including work trucks, diesel engines, standard vehicles, forklifts, and cranes. Certification as a mechanic and a valid driver's license are required for this position. Our company provides all the tools and equipment needed, including hoists, scanners, and tire machines. If you have expertise in vehicle maintenance and diesel engine repair and are passionate about ensuring machinery operates at peak performance, this position is for you.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance on a wide range of vehicles and machinery.Diagnose and repair mechanical and engine issues, including diesel and standard engines.Utilize power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently.Maintain and repair farm machinery, forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment.Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction.Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow safety protocols.QualificationsCertified Mechanic with proven experience in the field.Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably with diesel engines and heavy machinery.Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment.Familiarity with vehicle maintenance, including diesel engine repair and standard engine repair.Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.Valid driver's license.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Grand Ledge, MI.Preferred ExperienceDiesel engine repair : 1 yearGeneral mechanical knowledge : 3 yearsCompensationHourly rate ranging from $25 to $35 per hour, depending on experience and certifications.Full-time position with benefits.Benefits401(k) retirement planHealth, dental, vision, and life insurancePaid time offSchedule : 8-hour shiftsOvertime and weekend availability as neededAs an equal opportunity employer, we prioritize diversity in our workforce, recognizing that innovation thrives on varied perspectives.
