Job Overview

We are seeking a superstar Office Manager to join our fast-growing, high-performance landscape design and construction company. This key leadership role requires exceptional organization, integrity, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in bookkeeping, QuickBooks Online, and Excel, with the ability to manage our Master Business Plan and critical financial data.

Duke's Landscape Company, based in Golden, CO, is a leader in landscape design and construction, serving the Front Range, Foothills, and Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Known for its award-winning projects, the company offers personalized service in landscape design, patios, and outdoor kitchens.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping & Financial Management:
    • Manage all accounts payable and receivable using QuickBooks Online.
    • Ensure accurate and timely job costing, expense tracking, and reconciliation.
    • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Operational & Business Management:
    • Oversee and maintain the Master Business Plan in Excel, ensuring all key data points are up to date.
    • Track key company metrics, project costs, and team performance to support informed decision-making.
    • Assist in refining and implementing company processes and systems.
  • Team Coordination & Accountability:
    • Ensure team members submit receipts, hours, and project details accurately and on time.
    • Communicate effectively across departments to maintain operational efficiency.
    • Follow up with team members on outstanding tasks and keep projects moving forward.
  • Administrative & Office Management:
    • Manage office operations, vendor relationships, and company documentation.
    • Assist leadership with administrative tasks, scheduling, and overall company organization.
    • Support HR-related tasks such as onboarding, compliance, and policy updates.
What We're Looking For

  • Exceptional integrity - take ownership, hold others accountable, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Expertise in QuickBooks Online and strong Excel skills (financial tracking, reporting, and formulas).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently with speed and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to streamline processes for improved efficiency.
  • Experience in job costing, budgeting, and financial management (preferably in construction or service-based industries).
  • A team player who ensures smooth operations and helps drive the success of the business.

Schedule

  • Full Time
  • Monday to Friday
