Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within commercial, industrial, and government sectors.
- Conduct site visits and client meetings to assess project needs and pitch RPM's services.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through consistent communication and follow-up.
- Generate and manage leads using internal CRM and external platforms (e.g., BidClerk, Sam.gov).
- Collaborate with the estimating and operations teams to prepare customized proposals.
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions to promote RPM.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and market pricing.
- Provide regular updates and sales reports to leadership on pipeline status and goals.
- Participate in marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns as needed.
- Meet or exceed established sales targets and KPIs.
- 3 years of experience in outside sales, preferably in landscape, construction, or related industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms and sales tracking tools.
- Ability to read basic construction documents and understand project scopes.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Comfortable conducting field visits and client presentations.
