Freedom Home Advantage manages over 300 single-family rental properties, and we're looking for a Residential Maintenance Technician to ensure homes are well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and repairs are completed efficiently. In this role, you'll handle hands-on maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and preventative care—all while enjoying a structured schedule without nights or weekend work.

What You'll Do

• Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance, including:
• General handyman work (light fixture replacements, drywall repair, appliance troubleshooting, lock changes)
• Basic plumbing (unclogging drains, fixing leaks)
• Basic electrical repairs (outlet replacements, minor wiring fixes)
• Routine HVAC filter changes and minor troubleshooting
• Preventative maintenance to reduce future repair needs
• Conduct property inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Meet tenants at properties for service visits and inspections.
• Use GPS to navigate job sites and complete tasks efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain clear communication with the Property Manager to ensure smooth scheduling and task completion.

• On-call shifts, nights, or weekends - Your schedule is predictable.
• Scheduling service visits - The Property Manager handles that for you.
• Interacting with property owners - Your focus is on maintenance.

What You Bring To The Table

• Previous experience in general property maintenance, handyman services, or a related field.
• Comfort with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general home repair.
• Ability to assess and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Reliability and commitment to high-quality work.
• Self-motivation and the ability to manage tasks effectively.
• Ability to use and maintain tools; experience with property management software is a plus.
• Comfortable using a personal vehicle for work (with mileage reimbursement).
