This role is essential in preparing accurate and competitive bids for both public and private sector projects. Reporting to the Director of Preconstruction, the Senior Estimator will leverage their knowledge of building systems, cost analysis, and value engineering to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions. Key Responsibilities :
- Preconstruction Management :
Oversee and manage the preconstruction process for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company objectives.
Analyze project documentation to identify RFIs, design conflicts, and missing information.
Prepare detailed estimates, clarifications, and scopes of work.
Prepare final proposals and present them to project owners, small groups, and stakeholders.
Work closely with PCE and PCC teams to ensure thorough subcontractor coverage during the bid process.
Lead project transfer meetings with the operations team for awarded projects.
Qualifications :
Proficiency with Stack Software for takeoffs and other on-screen takeoff tools (e.g., Planswift, OST).
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to pass a background check.
