Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair overhead traffic signal systems in accordance with project specifications.
- Operate bucket trucks, lifts, and other specialized equipment for overhead installations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and construction plans.
- Perform electrical wiring, grounding, and connections for traffic signal systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including OSHA, fall protection, and lift operation guidelines.
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues in traffic signal systems.
- Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment maintenance.
- Proven experience in traffic signal installation or overhead electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of overhead electrical systems and traffic signal operations.
- Ability to work safely at heights and operate lifts and bucket trucks.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Preferred but not required: OSHA certification, fall protection training, and lift operation certification (company-sponsored training available).
- Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of NEC codes and requirements.
