Copper River Technologies is seeking a Senior BPR Business Analyst to lead and execute process modernization projects, applying advanced process analysis, improvement, and reengineering methodologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Lean Six Sigma, process modeling, and business transformation, with a strong ability to manage large-scale IT projects and facilitate enterprise-wide integration efforts. This role requires expert guidance, strategic oversight, and the ability to communicate complex technical solutions to senior executives. The Senior Business Analyst will also be responsible for the development and delivery of training programs, ensuring effective knowledge transfer to project teams.
This position is on site at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to) :
- Lead process modernization efforts through the application of process analysis, improvement, and reengineering methodologies to enhance business operations.
- Conduct activity and data modeling, transaction flow analysis, and internal control and risk assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize business processes.
- Establish standards for information systems procedures and create information models to support integrated software and database management systems.
- Develop sound, logical business improvement solutions aligned with Information Management principles, cost savings, and open system architecture objectives.
- Manage the effective transition of existing project teams, ensuring smooth execution of project activities and objectives.
- Facilitate group sessions, provide interviews, training, and various knowledge transfer methods to ensure successful collaboration and skill development.
- Coordinate between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration and alignment of reengineering efforts.
- Provide customized training programs for diverse audiences, ranging from novice to expert, focusing on Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Design, develop, and conduct training courses that support continuous business process improvement (BPI) initiatives across the organization.
- Advise on organizational, strategic, and technical matters related to the implementation of Business Transformation methodologies across various programs and commands.
- Lead and manage complex Lean Six Sigma projects, conducting or overseeing Lean Six Sigma events to achieve process improvements.
- Analyze data from multiple sources to develop holistic, actionable solutions for complex IT projects and communicate findings and recommendations to senior leaders.
- Influence decision-making by presenting well-researched recommendations that support the overall strategic objectives of the organization.
Essential Job Requirements :
Master's Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 20 years of program management experience, including demonstrated success in a supervisory capacity.
Strong leadership and coaching abilities to guide teams and foster collaboration across multiple departments and organizations.
