Host/Hostess:
THE CORNER GRILL, BAR GAME ROOM
Rustic-chic, eco-minded American eatery & caterer with craft cocktails, local beers & outdoor seats.
We are seeking friendly, energetic, responsible hosts and hostesses to complement our team. Host/hostess duties primarily focus on ensuring that guests have a positive experience as soon as they enter the restaurant. Commitment to outstanding guest service is vital.
Responsibilities for Host/Hostess:
- Greet guests with genuine hospitality as they walk into the restaurant
- Help guests with reservations and guide them to their table
- Give guests accurate wait time estimates and seat them in the waiting area
- Provide customers with menus and answer any initial questions they may have
- Optimize seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff
Skills and Requirements:
- Able to keep up in a fast-paced work environment
- Enjoy guest service and hospitality
- Positive upbeat attitude
- Ability to multi-task
- Willing to assist other team members
- Willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Pay: $16 - $18 per hour, based on experience
