What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Kitchen Support position at The Corner?
Hello! We are seeking a weekend dishwasher and prep person. Some Fridays and possible other days, especially Monday holidays.
We are an independently owned & established breakfast restaurant in Media.
Our dish station is not a giant wash washroom. It's faced paced but an under the counter machine. You will be part of a small, helpful team.
What your day will be like:
Start time 7am. Being on time and reliable is very important.
You will start your day with some prep before we open at 8am.
Dishes during service plus some help to servers & cooks when needed. Other weekdays, it can be prep all day with some dish as needed.
Then closing time. Being physically able to lift kitchen mats, take out trash, sweep and mop necessary. We are not a large restaurant but it is a physical job. We are usually finished around 3:30pm. Great day job!
Some restaurant experience, knife skills and food safety knowledge necessary.
