Specific Job Responsibilities: (Minimum)
- Process incoming and outgoing mail using and operating mail handling equipment
- Ability to lift packages and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds and to maneuver a variety of carts and hand-trucks in hallways, elevators and other tight spaces
- Use of handheld scanning/tracking devices and maintenance of tracking records
- Deliver and collect mail from office floors, work with mail carriers couriers and building staff to ensure timely delivery of mail
- Obtain verification of delivery
- Provide customer service in-person, via phone and email.
- Follow customer’s security protocols, maintain confidentiality
- You are required to perform your responsibilities as they currently exist or may change in meeting the needs of the site, under the supervision of your supervisor/manager
Requirements:
Demonstrated understanding of the following mail operations: USPS and private carriers classes of mail, methods and procedures established for processing each class of mail and commonly used mail terminology.

Represent The Corporate Source (TCS) in a professional and courteous manner, and to work and communicate constructively with the other members of your team.
Where a question arises, to seek clarification from your supervisor, project manager, or from senior management of TCS.
Meet with your direct supervisor as needed to provide all materials or updates regarding work required in a timely and professional manner.
Immediately report to your supervisor any and all service deliver or work issues which may bring risk to anyone, affect the proper operation of the mail room, or result in noncompliance of regulations.
Ensure that mail is securely delivered to customers
Adhere to all policies and professional standards set forth by The Corporate Source, including but not limited to ensuring that your workplace is free of all forms of harassment, sexual harassment and discrimination. You are required to contact your supervisor, Project Manager, or the Director of Human Resources if you believe you have been subject to or observed such behaviors.
To be fully aware of all regulations and policies set forth in your work site’s Procedures Manual, as well as The Corporate Source’s Employee Handbook, and to participate in all required orientation and training workshops.
