PRIMARY PURPOSE: As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring campaigns market the brand for MGMRI. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide channel management with required information to execute campaigns and ensure campaign information is accomplished and meets quality standards Analyze campaign performance, recommend and implement strategic changes in order to improve our marketing efforts Research marketing trends and develop ways to implement into MGM Resorts International’s business practices Identify and monitor internal benchmarks in relation to marketing trends and delivery standards Ensure marketer business requirements and needs are supported with the appropriate tools, data, application, functionality and other required resources Perform other job-related duties as requested KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms Ability to communicate effectively, concisely and logically in a timely manner and at an appropriate level, while maintaining confidentiality Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent Two (2) years of experience in marketing or related field Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays PREFERRED: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Hotel Administration, Marketing, or related field Experience within a Marketing division Experience working in a similar resort setting MGM Resorts International develops, builds and operates unique destination resorts designed to provide a total resort experience, including first-class accommodations and dining, world-class entertainment, state-of-the-art meeting and convention facilities, and high-quality retail and gaming experiences.
