The Community Outreach Specialist for the Screening Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) Program (Yates County) will be responsible to implement screening, brief intervention and referral to treatment services for at-risk individuals (children, adolescents and/or adults) in primary care and a variety community health settings with a targeted focus on screening for underage drinking opioid use and other substance use. Position requires ability to travel and an outgoing, creative team player with flexibility, excellent oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to development relationships. Bachelor's Degree in Health Education, Chemical Dependency Counseling, Nursing required. A minimum of 2 years experience in teaching, working with youth, counseling or human services preferably with a background in alcohol/drug misuse. Our main office is in Geneva, NY expected travel in the following areas Canandaigua, Dundee & Geneva area.

Pay: $38,500.00 - $41,000.00 per year
