The Country Club of Louisiana is looking to expand our Pool Lifeguard team. We are seeking experienced individuals to provide top-tier service to our members and guests. Our lifeguard staff members are responsible for monitoring pool water conditions and providing a safe, fun environment for our members to enjoy.
To be a successful lifeguard, you should possess excellent customer service, a willingness to learn, and strive to be a team player. As we move into our pool season, we are looking to expand our team of motivated, efficient, and service-oriented staff members.

Responsibilities:
- Opening and closing the pool each day according to scheduled hours
- Regularly treat the pool with the correct amount of chemicals
- Closely monitoring activities related to the pool area, identifying any safety issues throughout shift
- Directing swimmers out of water in dangerous conditions
- Closely monitoring weather reports to make sure guests remain safe
- Organizing and overseeing pool parties
- Providing swim lessons and coaching swim team when applicable
- Maintaining a clean pool environment
Special Requirements:
- Lifeguard Certification

- The ability to handle multiple functions simultaneously
Physical Functions:
- Swimming
- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools and/or controls.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, vision sufficient enough to read, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs.
- Independent mobility through clubhouse and pool deck
