What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Operations position at The Country Club?
The Outside Operations staff includes Bag Room, Driving Range and Golf Carts and Barn.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Spread hospitality and good will among all members, guests and fellow staff members.
- Open the bag room at the start of the day and follow opening procedures
- Set up the driving range and short game area
- Maintain golf carts
- Operate the bag room and assist guests at all times
- Follow closing procedures for bag room and cleaning up the driving range
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of all golf facilities
Required Skills:
- High school preferred
- Golf background preferred
- Team Player who thinks proactively, not re-actively.
- Enjoys doing nice things for people and is comfortable in service business.
- Enthusiastic & energetic.
- Willingness to learn and grow to be top in field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Has the skills and concentration to multi-task.
- Patience
Uniform Requirements:
- Professional Golf attire
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Working on weekends and holidays is a must.
- Able to lift 20 to 30-pound golf bag.
