Locally owned and in the heart of SouthPark, The Cowfish is well known as the spot for the freshest sushi and best burgers around! We are looking for a hands on Service Manager to join our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive daily operations including the kitchen, dining room, bar, and host stand.
- Engage with guests. Receive feedback and comments to understand areas of opportunity and strengths.
- Create an environment that is safe, warm, and welcoming for all guests and team members.
- Monitor and coach team members on performance and compliance. Train and develop team members to their highest potential.
- Evaluate work procedures and identify methods for increasing efficacy or productivity.
- Write weekly work schedules to accommodate team members and sales volumes.
- Recruit and interview applicants, hire and onboard new team members.
- Conducts cash drops, reviews credit card totals, and verifies deposit slips.
- Completes all required reports and paperwork accurately and on time.

Requirements
- Previous supervisory and/or hospitality industry experience required.
- High degree of flexibility and adaptability. Must be able to manage multiple projects and work well under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and communication skills.
- Must be approachable and have good leadership skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds (including trash bags).
- Position requires prolonged standing, bending, twisting and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
- Work with hot, cold, and/or hazardous materials and equipment.
- A valid drivers license, proof of insurance and non-slip shoes are required.
