Restaurant Hostess

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional guest services and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
• Assist guests with any inquiries regarding the menu or restaurant services.
• Ensure that the dining area is clean, organized, and inviting at all times.
• Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, for managing reservations and orders efficiently.
• Provide support during busy periods by helping with food service as needed.

Skills

• Strong guest service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food service operations and POS systems is advantageous.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
