Who we are: We are a small credit repair/consulting company. We have been in business for over 30 years helping our clients to restore their credit and regain their financial freedom. We are a supportive family-like team with a sweet hypoallergenic dog as our office mascot. Our team consists of six other associates who each play a key roll in the success of our company.

Location: Small office space located in Mountlake Terrace, WA

Hours and wages: This is an in-office, entry-level, full-time position starting at $20/hr. Hours are 9am to 5pm Mon through Fri.

Who we are seeking: Due to the nature of our work, the ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic with a high level of integrity. Attention to detail with repetitive tasks, good communication skills, and the ability to remain focused in the midst of distractions are all a must.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Reviewing credit reports

· Drafting documents

· Data entry

· Answering a multi-line phone system

· Verbal and written client communication/support

· Scanning documents

· Picking up and dropping off mail

· Perform additional office duties as needed

Job requirements are:

· High school graduate/GED

· Excellent typing skills with a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute

· Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, maneuvering websites, and digitally saving documents

· Attention to detail and good organizational skills

· Strong communication skills

· A basic understanding and ability to troubleshoot technology (i.e. computer software, computer hardware, computer networking, multi-line phone systems, phone/internet modems, printers, scanners, fax machines, etc.)

· Ability to understand and follow rules regarding confidentiality and the handling of confidential client information

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

· Willingness to take on additional tasks as needed

· Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle

· Must have or be willing to obtain a Washington state independent contractors license (This is something we will pay for and assist with on your first day of employment)

· Must be able clear criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications include:

· An understanding of credit and credit reporting

· The ability to read and understand credit reports

· An understanding of credit scores

· Prior office experience

· Experience with using FileMaker software for data entry

This job is located in a small office that often has other activities going on throughout the day. If you are easily distracted by activity happening around you, this is not the job for you. This position is perfect for someone who likes doing repetitive tasks and enjoys talking with clients on the phone. We offer paid training and the opportunity for advancement.
