Human Resources Generalist – The Crème Shop
Location: Glendale, CA
Schedule: Full-time Onsite, Monday–Friday 8 AM – 5 PM

We are a dynamic and growing K-Beauty brand, supplying high-quality skincare products to retailers and consumers nationwide. As our business expands, we are looking for an Human Resources Generalist to support our salaried and hourly workforce in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This role is perfect for someone early in their HR career who wants to develop full-cycle HR experience.
What You’ll Do
As an HR Generalist, you will be the go-to person for our hourly staff and junior leadership. With oversight from the HR Manager, you will help manage essential HR functions. The following list is a segmented breakdown of major tasks including:
Recruiting & Onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to post job openings, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews.
- Facilitate the new hire process, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
- Maintain compliance with hiring documentation, including I-9 verification.
- Work within SAP to help oversee user administration.
Timekeeping & Payroll
- Manage timekeeping records for both salaried and hourly employees, ensuring accuracy in biweekly payroll processing.
- Assist with payroll administration, troubleshooting discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws.
- Preferred experience with payroll and timekeeping systems such as UKG, ADP, or similar platforms.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns, escalating issues as needed.
- Support HR policies and procedures, ensuring a positive and compliant workplace culture.
- Assist with performance management and disciplinary actions as required.
Offboarding
- Coordinate offboarding procedures, including exit interviews and system access removal.
- Ensure compliance with final pay and benefits offboarding processes.
What We’re Looking For
✔ 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably in a wholesale, retail, or distribution environment.
✔ Strong foundation in recruiting, onboarding, timekeeping, payroll, employee relations, and offboarding.
✔ Spanish-bilingual strongly preferred to support our diverse workforce with both administrative & warehouse staff.
✔ Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to HR support.
✔ Eagerness to grow—this role is designed to develop and grow your HR career path.
✔ Experience with HR software is a plus, including:
- SAP (ERP) for business operations
- UKG, ADP, or other HRIS/payroll systems

Salary Range: $70-$80K per year, depending on experience.
