The Firm has an immediate opening for a paralegal/legal assistant to assist with the Firms busy litigation docket. The paralegal will assist Senior Attorney(s) and clients with legal matters including filing, organizing files, client updates, and all other things required to help attorneys and clients reach goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

The paralegal will assist Senior Attorney(s) and clients with legal matters including filing, organizing files, client updates, and all other things required to help attorneys and clients reach goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
- Bill 35 hours per week.
- Timely complete tasks as assigned by attorneys.
- Drafting correspondence to clients and opposing parties.
- Calendaring appointments and deadlines.
- Filing and e-serving various documents.
- Communicating with Court staff
- Communicating with clients
- Organizing client files in Clio
- Circulating files to parties
- Drafting various motions and pleadings
- Assists with compiling exhibits, preparing, and organizing for court appearances, trial settings, mediation, and arbitration.
- Arrange transportation and lodging as necessary for witnesses, experts, attorneys, etc., for court appearances, trial settings, mediation, and arbitration.
- Assisting with other tasks as assigned.
- Stay informed on client matters and assist your supervising attorney in maintaining client communications and relationships.
- Promptly respond to client communications. (Typically, within 24 hours).
- Update case status in following strategy Meetings.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Associate or bachelors degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
- Paralegal certificate preferred.
- Relative experience preferred.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
