Midtown Administrative & Next Gen Assistant

The Midtown Administrative & Next Gen Assistant will keep the team organized and informed by providing exemplary administrative support, assistance and encouragement. They will focus on helping execute community events and supporting our growing next-gen ministries (birth - 12th grade). This position is perfect for a self-starting, driven individual whom God has gifted with exemplary organizational skills. This individual will thrive with a desire to see the Midtown area of Las Vegas reached for Jesus.
What you’ll be doing
Ministry Support
- Lead campus hospitality and Reach cafe teams to ensure they are equipped to execute events on Sunday and throughout the week.
- Complete & maintain all Midtown church room booking (e-space)
- Complete weekly Sunday church checklist
- Assist in managing the ministry team calendar and scheduling
- Ordering, cleaning, and restocking the Green Room
- Order all needed food, items, and supplies for weekly ministries (CR, Rooted, etc)
- Campus lead for contacting and scheduling new and potential volunteers and moving them through the onboard process from inquiry to on a team (Join A Team)
Next Generation
- Schedule volunteers for all Midtown Next-Gen Sunday environments
- Ensuring all Kids Crossing & Crossing Students supplies / computer elements are prepared and at Midtown
- Inventory and organize Kids Crossing resource room
- Assist twice monthly in facilitating a kid’s or next-gen room and ability to fill in for someone’s absence
- Send weekly emails to Activators with curriculum
Events

Work with Midtown Ministry Lead to create and execute events that serve the Midtown community.

Recruit needed Activators, ordering supplies, and booking vendors for events.

Develop a team of Activators (volunteers) to execute events.

Assist in ordering items needed for campus events, creative elements and other campus needs.
General
-
Assist Midtown staff with receipts.
-
Perform general office duties such as copying, filing, mailing, etc.

Answer / return phone calls and emails as requested

Purchase items for ministry as needed

Organize workflow and synchronize between Google Docs and Rock
-
Attend weekly admin meetings and communicate if there is anything coming that’s not on the radar

Respond to all general ministry questions, both internally and externally, via phone and email

Run errands as needed

Other related duties as needed
Qualifications
What you’ll bring to the team

Minimum Education: High School Diploma

Minimum Experience: Two years in professional administrative role
-
Language fluency requirement: Must be fluent in English, Spanish a plus

Demonstrates strong technology experience (Gmail, Google Docs, Word, Excel, Rock, etc.)

Preferred Experience: Three years in an equivalent church setting or non-profit organization

Must pass a pre-employment background check

Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
