We are currently looking for a Clinical Assistant who will play a key role in supporting the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by preparing clients for their appointments and handling administrative duties to maintain smooth clinic operations and ensure exceptional client care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Collect urine samples and ensure proper handling and labeling.
- Escort patient to the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner office.
- Maintain proper inventory supplies, including urine collection materials, Gene Sight testing kits, urine collection bags, alcohol and bandages.
- Schedule and reschedule client appointments as needed.
- Obtain and manage medical records from external facilities.
- Respond promptly to calls from pharmacies, hospitals, and doctors’ offices.
- Serve as a scribe during treatment team meetings.
- Order and distribute bus passes as needed.
- Mail letters to clients regarding impending discharges or official discharge notices.
