Patient Access careers are patient facing customer service roles in a clinical setting guiding patients through registration, check in / out procedures, scheduling future appointments and insurance processing. The ideal candidate for this role will be a compassionate caregiver with prior healthcare administrative and customer service experience gained while working face-to-face in a clinical healthcare setting such as a high-volume provider office or hospital. The scope of the role encompasses aspects of billing and payment collections at time of service or in advance of care. Opportunities available are in Palm Beach Gardens and Monday - Friday dayshift. All positions are contract, fulltime, onsite in a healthcare facility with a contract-to-hire option. Requirements :
- Compassionate caregiver mindset
- COVID vaccine or approved medical or religious exemption
- 1 year of healthcare administrative and customer service experience in a direct patient care facility
- Functional knowledge of software like Epic or e-ClinicalWorks and common Office products
- Prior knowledge of health insurance
- Agile, independent multi-tasker comfortable in a fast-paced environment
