The Cure Company is a premier Cannabis brand based in the DTLA Arts District area. Our HR team supports various locations in the greater Los Angeles area. We are seeking a bilingual (english/spanish) candidate with experience and the drive to learn and grow.
Position Overview:
As a Human Resources Associate at The Cure Company, you will be an integral part of our growing team, assisting with various business operations and contributing to the overall growth and success of our organization. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in human resources while working in a dynamic environment. This position will be both in office and off site at other facilities.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Coordinate the onboarding process for new staff members, including preparing orientation materials and assisting with orientation sessions.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the HR department, including organizing files, maintaining databases, and preparing reports.
Assist in managing HR-related documentation and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Training and Development: Help organize and track required training, especially in the area of safety
Qualifications;
High energy and a positive attitude, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Bilingual - English/Spanish
Basic understanding of human resources concepts and principles (previous HR coursework or experience is a plus).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
At least 2 years of relevant experience and/or training
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
At least 21 years of age, able to work around strong Cannabis odors from our cultivation facilities
Reliable transportation and valid driver license required
