Established in 1869, The David Round Company remains one of the oldest hoist manufacturers in the world. David Round offers standard handling products such as chain hoists, jib cranes, winches and tractor drives as well as innovative solutions including engineered wire rope hoists, all stainless Steel chain hoists and jib crane motorization kits.
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team.
As an Inside Sales/Parts Representative, you will drive sales opportunities by researching potential accounts, soliciting new business, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. You'll provide technical information, prepare quotations, and address customer inquiries through various communication channels. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for sales and a strong desire to learn and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Sales Opportunities:
- Research and identify potential accounts.
- Solicit new business and build rapport with clients.
- Provide technical information and explanations.
- Prepare and present quotations.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain positive relationships with current customers.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns via telephone, fax, and e-mail.
- Sales Achievement:
- Set and meet sales goals and objectives as defined by management.
- Accept ownership for fulfilling new and diverse requests.
- Technical Expertise:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products.
- Stay updated on new product descriptions and features.
- Collaboration and Problem Solving:
- Work closely with engineering teams to create solutions and identify new growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Excellent listening skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after training.
- Proficiency in explaining technical features and addressing customer queries.
Travel – 5% yearly
