Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced (senior level) Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to lead the transition of new precision motion products from prototype to high-volume production. This role focuses on manufacturing process development, assembly tooling, and equipment validation, ensuring operational excellence in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design engineers to ensure Design for Manufacturability and Reliability.
- Develop and document manufacturing processes, assembly methods, and production flows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electromechanical system issues in production.
- Design and qualify tooling, fixturing, and poka-yoke strategies to reduce process variation.
- Drive process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
- Lead quality initiatives using FMEA, SPC, and variation reduction techniques.
- Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and implement supplier quality standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
- B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related technical role.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, CAD, and ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical-mechanical integration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with FMEA, DfM, SPC, and quality tools.
Preferred:
- Experience in machining, precision assembly, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, RoHS, REACH, and ISTA packaging standards.
- Understanding of complex electromechanical instruments.

Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
