The VP of Sales will be responsible for leading a high-performing sales team, setting sales strategies, and expanding our client base within each vertical. This leader must understand the nuances of each division, tailor go-to-market strategies accordingly and ensure sales alignment with each ideal customer profile. The ideal candidate is a hands-on sales leader with experience in staffing and workforce solutions, a strong ability to build relationships, and a track record of driving business growth in complex markets. This position is designed to help lead, train, and develop successful DAVIS Sales Managers and thus their sales reps, and their long-term goals through culture, profitability and growth objectives.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership & Sales Execution
•Develop and execute a sales strategy for each vertical, ensuring alignment with ideal customer profiles and market dynamics.
•Drive new customer development while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients.
•Establish and monitor KPIs for pipeline growth, client acquisition, and revenue targets across all verticals.
•Partner with marketing and operations to ensure sales efforts align with market demands and service capabilities.
•Oversee sales forecasting, territory planning, and competitive analysis.
Sales Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales leaders and professionals, ensuring they meet or exceed sales goals.
•Implement and maintain a structured sales process, coaching team members on best practices for prospecting, consultative selling, and closing deals.
•Foster a results-driven, high-performance culture within the sales organization.
Market & Customer Engagement
•Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in engineering, manufacturing, and contingent workforce management.
•Stay ahead of industry trends, market shifts, and client challenges to refine sales strategies.
•Drive client retention efforts, ensuring long-term partnerships and continued revenue growth.
•Work with internal Talent Acquisition to identify, hire, and successfully develop Technical Recruiters on their teams to grow the DAVIS brand.
•Effectively manage and communicate Recruiting team’s metrics, goals, and achievements to Leadership and Executive team.
•Responsible for helping Employees achieve desired Metrics and KPI’s through goal setting.
•Leading, inspiring, and engaging Employees to achieve their growth initiatives through weekly 1:1’s.
•Collaborate with division leaders to establish clear goals
•Helping to create an environment where Employees are challenged to be the best versions of themselves and rewarded for their progress and achievements through our ROCI core values.
