Job Summary
The Personal Injury Paralegal supports attorneys in managing the discovery phase of personal injury cases. This role focuses on gathering, organizing and managing case materials to ensure thorough and timely preparation of cases. This role requires a solid understanding of legal procedures, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. This is a full-time and on-site role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage personal injury cases from the receipt of answers / filing Request for Judicial Intervention (RJI) through to the filing of the Note of Issue.
- Prepare discovery documents, organize evidence, and assist attorneys with depositions and motion practice.
- Draft and respond to discovery demands, subpoenas, and pleadings, BPs other related correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with court-mandated deadlines and maintain case file integrity.
- Assist in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, preparing witness lists, and drafting trial binders.
