Job Description
The Grain Elevator Location Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our grain elevator facilities. This position requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of employees to ensure seamless execution of daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all grain handling equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition, including rolling stock.
- Employee Supervision: Supervise, lead, and develop all elevator employees, providing training to meet state and OSHA safety criteria.
- Grain Handling: Manage the handling of all inbound and outbound grain, scheduling and ensuring completion of daily operations.
- Customer Relations: Resolve issues with customers when they arise, while maintaining a positive reputation for our company.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 24 months as a Superintendent or 5 years of experience in supervising grain elevator operations.
- Safety Knowledge: Advanced knowledge in Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulics, and Pneumatic systems.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and upper management.
