Job Description
The Grain Originator plays a pivotal role in maximizing The DeLong Company's long-term returns by effectively coordinating with other grain divisions to optimize marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage risk associated with futures transactions, ensuring proper hedging and rolling ownership strategies.
- Communicate seamlessly with merchandisers, logistics, accounting, facility staff, and customers to meet customer needs and achieve maximum profit margins.
- Utilize cash bids, HTA's, basis contracts, or marketing programs to accommodate customer requirements.
- Validate payments, settlements, freight invoices, and grades to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-3 years of Computer Knowledge
- Ability to manage confidential information
