LOCATION: Clinton WI.
FULL-TIME/PART-TIME: Full-Time
SHIFT: The hours are 7am to 5pm Monday - Friday and rotation for Saturdays.
PAY: $18.00-$20.00/hour based on experience
Job Description
The DeLong Co., Inc. is seeking individuals to assist in operations in our feed and bird seed plant in an efficient and timely manner. Qualified individuals must have a positive attitude toward Safety, Customer Service and Employee Team-Work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive bagged, dry bulk and liquid ingredients.
- Operate fork lift to unload bagged ingredients into proper storage. (will train)
- Complete inventory analysis of ingredients for first in - first out process.
- Maintain housekeeping of ingredient & feed areas per OSHA standards.
- Assist management with production scheduling, inventory planning and control for both ingredients and finished product.
- Operate feed batching, grinding, and liquid application equipment on a daily basis.
- Daily cleaning inside of feed mill and load-out area, outside feed storage area and computer room.
- Monitor feed for quality.
- Utilize OSHA safety standards.
- Utilize lock out tag out process as required for equipment inspection and maintenance.
- Work in dusty environment (grass seed, bird seed, feed ingredients)
