What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Insurance Broker position at The Demarco Group?
We are seeking a qualified P&C Mid Market Account Executive for a private national broker that can be housed hybrid out of LA. (1-2 days a week in office- client visits and carrier appts count as going in office)
This is a unique opportunity to be trained into the private equity / M&A vertical with a top 10 broker in the world. (Do not need previous experience in PE, they are happy to train).
In this role, the Broker :
- The lead support professional on a $1.5M revenue book. (Private equity Book)
- Markets renewals and new business.
- Evaluates existing coverages and makes recommendations as needed.
- Attends client meetings and assists producers with new and renewal presentations.
- Rounds out accounts as opportunities arise.
- Maintains a significant relationship with the underwriting community
- Negotiates with underwriters to provide the best possible coverage and rates according to underwriting guidelines.
- Receives, reviews and forwards invoices, policies, endorsements and other documents as necessary.
- Markets specialized coverages as needed
- Visits clients as necessary to ensure client satisfaction.
