RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full-cycle accounting inclusive of A/P, A/R, bank, and credit card reconciliation, and month-end close
- Broad knowledge of payroll accounting and related compliance matters
- 1099 compliance, vendor maintenance & annual tax filing
- Consistently complete routine tasks efficiently
- Approach all new projects and responsibilities with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Track and record expenses and revenues utilizing accounting software technology advancements to continually improve workflows
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with company eFiling standards
- Packing, labeling, shipment, and tracking of financial documents and regulatory tax forms
- Draft and circulate materials on behalf of the CEO
- Maintain and manage eFiling System
- Oversee processing and document management of contracts and forms
- Effectively navigate and operate within various computer databases relating to areas of responsibility
- Handle inquiries from internal and external contacts and draft related correspondence
- Provide general office support (e.g., maintain and organize files, scan documents, schedule routine meetings, maintain CEO’s calendar, answer telephones, log and place calls, order supplies, arrange travel itineraries, prepare expense reports and oversee submission of bills and other invoices for payment)
- Work with and maintain confidential information
- Basic understanding of Standard Operating Procedures and willingness to aid in contributions to and management of the firm's client onboarding and maintenance mode operational strategies and processes, which are at the core of the company's ability to acquire and retain a multitude of clients
- Has driver’s license/vehicle and is able to run local errands
- Perform accounting-related tasks as requested by the CEO
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years of QuickBooks Online Software Experience (QBO ProAdvisor, QBO Certified, QBO Advanced Certified, or proven mastery of QuickBooks Online software, application integrations, etc.)
- 3 years experience bookkeeping with full-cycle accounting inclusive of A/P, A/R, bank, and credit card reconciliation, and month-end close
- 3 years of corporate bookkeeping experience
- Experience in apparel manufacturing, entertainment, and related industries a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and solve problems, an out-of-the-box thinker
- Self-starter who is willing to learn with a desire to become an expert in QuickBooks Online
- Independent worker who can think critically and manage time with minimal oversight

- Type minimum of 80
- Proficient in Google Suite: Gmail, Cal, Drive, Meets, etc.
- Human Resources experience ideal
- Knowledge of standard accounting procedures
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills as well as having excellent organizational skills
- Display a great deal of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure and independently, in a deadline-driven, detail-oriented environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy, composure, and professionalism at all times
- Must have the ability to work with and maintain confidential information
- Flexibility in accepting new and changing responsibilities, as well as strong personal initiative and resourcefulness; taking ownership of and accountability of responsibilities
- Must have very strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word, and the ability to navigate in web-based database environments
- Ability to identify, prioritize, and manage important administrative issues, multi-task, and effectively prioritize work assignments in addition to handling changing priorities
- Willing to sign Confidentiality Agreement
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour
