The Litigation Paralegal at The Dennis Law Firm provides a pivotal role in supporting our relentless pursuit in ensuring our clients get the justice they deserve. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our personal injury Law Firm. The ideal candidate will provide critical support to our attorneys, assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters, and helping manage cases from inception to resolution. This role involves extensive client interaction, document preparation, and case management. The position also requires a laser-like focus in paying attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
This candidate should feel comfortable conducting research, doing data entry, scheduling, maintaining case files, and completing other ad-hoc requests, as needed.
Responsibilities
- Case Management : Assist attorneys in managing personal injury cases, including gathering and organizing client information, medical records, and evidence.
- Document Preparation : Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, discovery responses, and correspondence.
- Client Interaction : Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates, gather information, and respond to inquiries.
- Research : Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
- Court Filings : Prepare and file documents with state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines.
- Trial Preparation : Assist in preparing for trials, including organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and creating trial binders.
- Administrative Support : Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and maintaining case files.
