What We Offer
We are currently looking to fill a Friday at 9:15 AM Aqua class and depending on the staffing needs of the club, the instructor will also be required to help with subbing classes if available.
Certified Fitness Instructors are paid hourly and depending on their experience, the rate ranges from $30 - $40 per class. This position is not eligible for other additional benefits and performs work as a 1099 contractor.
What You'll Do
Certified Water Fitness Instructors provide training and instruction in aquatics group fitness classes at the Denver Athletic Club. Instructors are expected to provide a safe, educational, and enjoyable experience for all class participants. This position is a great opportunity for those who enjoy aquatics and are looking to engage with Denver's community members. Current CPR required. Current water fitness certification required.
As a Certified Water Fitness Instructors, you will:
- Instruct water fitness classes of roughly 60 minutes to 75 minutes in duration per class.
- Create enthusiastic and energetic class environments while providing specific emphasis on safety and proper execution of movements
- Keep current on all certifications and industry practices
- Maintain attendance records for classes; distributing and collecting class evaluations as requested
- Answer participant questions and resolving issues, problems, and conflicts
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Complete lesson plans
Salary : $30 - $40
