Description
The Department at Hudson's is seeking an experienced hands-on professional to work closely with the on-site Purchasing Manager. This position will ensure product is received, tracked and inventoried. You must be a self-motivated, organized, and process-minded individual.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Receive and check in product.- Ensure product received is of expected quality.
- Take time and temperature using provided guidelines and systems.
- Product received is delivered to appropriate storage areas.
- Product is placed in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Count and inventory product throughout month directed by Purchasing Manager.
- Follow all First in, First out procedures.
- Understand and contribute to ordering and inventory as directed by the Purchasing Manager.
- Communication is key and strong communication skills are required.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure proper products are ordered.
- Organize and maintain cleanliness of product areas.
- Track waste and spoilage per managers instruction.
- He ability to fix issues including sourcing and acquiring products as needed.
- Other duties as directed based on facilities scope of work.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
6 months of work experience in receiving and purchasing is preferred.- Employment in large kitchen, banquet and event experience preferred.
- Serve Safe/Allergen Certified or willingness to obtain certification within 3 months of employment. Company provides and pays for all classes to become certified.
- Must be able and willing to work seasonal event driven schedule.
- The ability to be trained in supply chain ordering systems as well as other systems provided through internet
- Strong organizational skills
- A positive attitude and the willingness to work with all facets and levels of management is required.
