School Nurse - Deron School of New Jersey - Montclair
The Deron School of New Jersey, Inc., is an approved private school for students with disabilities ages 3-21, is seeking applicants for a School Nurse in our Montclair Campus (ages 14-21). The applicant should possess the ability to multi-task and excel in a fast pace environment, as well as maintain high standards for student safety and care.
The School Nurse position is an 11 1/2 month position. The school follows a regular school calendar from September to June (Sept 1 to June 20), then Summer School for 30 days in July and August (July 1 to August 15).
This position requires the school nurse to go into the community with students and staff for worked based learning (WBL) and community based instruction (CBI). The nurse is also required to attend class trips and field trips.
Hours are 8:15am to 3:15pm whenever school is in session.
