Role – Date Architect with Azure .
Location – New York/ Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Implement Data Architectures: Develop scalable and secure Azure-based data solutions aligned with business needs.
- Azure Cloud Services: Utilize Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Lake to build end-to-end data pipelines.
- Data Modelling & Warehousing: Design data lakes, data warehouses, and relational databases for structured and unstructured data.
- ETL/ELT Pipelines: Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and Databricks.
- Big Data & Analytics: Architect real-time and batch-processing solutions using Azure Stream Analytics, Kafka, or Event Hubs.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure data governance, security policies, encryption, and access control across cloud solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and fine-tune databases and data solutions for high availability and performance.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with Data Engineers, Developers, Analysts, and Business Stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration.
Required Skills & Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Cloud Expertise: Proficiency in Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Lake, ADF, Databricks, and Power BI.
Data Modelling: Strong knowledge of dimensional modelling, star schema, and snowflake schema.
Programming & Scripting: Experience with SQL, Python, Scala, or PowerShell for data processing.
Big Data & Streaming: Familiarity with Spark, Kafka, and Event Hubs is a plus.
DevOps & CI/CD: Experience in Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or GitHub Actions for infrastructure automation.
Security & Compliance: Understanding of GDPR, HIPAA, role-based access controls (RBAC), and encryption techniques
Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
TOGAF or other architecture certifications
