Duties
- Manage daily operations of the dispensary, ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations.
- Supervise and train staff, including interviewing and onboarding new employees.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and oversee stock management to ensure product availability.
- Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and make informed decisions regarding product ordering and promotions.
- Oversee cash register operations, ensuring accuracy in transactions and adherence to cash handling procedures.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms for products.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar role, preferably within the cannabis industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in retail math and basic mathematical calculations.
- Experience operating cash registers and handling financial transactions accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with staff and customers alike.
- Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and their effects is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
