The Dixie Group has a vacancy for a Rug Cutter at our distribution location in Adairsville, GA.
The Rug cutter is responsible for cutting, shaping, and trimming rugs or carpets to specific sizes, designs, and specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut rugs or carpets to the required dimensions.
- Trim and adjust edges to fit specific rug shapes, such as round, square, or custom designs.
- Inspect rugs for defects, ensuring it has clean, straight edges without fraying.
- Make adjustments or repairs as needed to meet quality standards.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift or pull rugs as needed.
- Read and use a tape measure.
- Basic math skills
- Strong ability to prioritize
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in high-stress situations
- Must be a team player and self-motivated
- Willing to perform other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.40 - $17.11 per hour
