The Dixie Group has an opening for Winder Operator for our Calhoun, GA Facility. Previous experience is preferred but not required.
Operate Space dye winder, pack out yarn, put ends in, repair breaks, creel yarn, and splice in yarn.
Job Duties:
- Load tubes to winder.
- Remove 10-to-15-pound packages from the winder.
- Pack out yarn.
- Repair end breaks. Air splice up to 48 ends at a set amount of time.
- Place 10-to-15-pound packages into creels.
- Load packages to case.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.72 - $16.35 per hour
Schedule:
- Overnight shift
