The DNA Group is seeking a highly skilled IT Procurement Support Specialist to support our client in managing procurement activities, developing procurement-related documents, and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will excel in providing procurement support, creating and reviewing documents such as Statements of Work (SOW) and Statements of Requirements (SOR), and collaborating with agency stakeholders to gather and define requirements. A strong understanding of procurement regulations (DCMR 27, PPRA, and FAR) combined with technical writing expertise is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and coordinate all procurement activities to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Develop, review, and revise procurement documents, including SOWs, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), and contracts.
- Collaborate with program managers and agency stakeholders to resolve procurement issues and gather requirements.
- Ensure all purchase requests are accurate, complete, and compliant with District and agency policies and procedures.
- Monitor procurement processes and work with the Organizational Change and Process (OCP) team to implement improvements.
- Translate complex technical information into clear, concise documentation and manage internal documentation libraries.
- Handle special projects as assigned and coordinate with vendors to facilitate procurement activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience using procurement platforms such as Ariba or similar tools.
- Deep understanding of procurement regulations and guidelines, including DCMR 27, PPRA, and FAR.
- Ability to assess procurement needs and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-agency teams and external vendors.
