This role exists to provide Supervisory leadership for the Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country Medical Services team, the Medical Services Screening process, the Drug & Alcohol Testing program, and supporting Safety Management Team goals. This includes DW/ DSC Medical Services Protocols, Industry Compliance, and company policies and procedures. The Medical Services Supervisor is responsible for achieving safety, friendliness, cleanliness, and financial goals, as well as serving as the PIC of the Safety Team. The Medical Services Supervisor is a training position. As such, it is required that the skills and performance are evaluated as being eligible for promotion. If performance does not fit that profile, the opportunity will be given to interview for other open positions within the Dollywood Company, with no guarantee of placement. Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Supervise DW/ DSC Medical Services Team in the treatment of injured/ill Hosts or Guests in emergency and non-emergency situations, determining through a thorough patient assessment if a patient is able to remain on the park or at work with medical treatment as stated in approved protocols
- Interview, hire, schedule, coach, counsel, evaluate, perform corrective action, and establish recognition programs for both DW and DSC Medical Services Team
- Annually review and request updates to the DW Medical Services Protocols for SMC signed by the Dollywood Company Medical Director
- Maintain and ensure parks are consistent with HFE and DW Medical Services policies and procedures
- Ensure staff maintains confidentiality of patient and Park information and follow HIPPA guidelines
- Support Worker's Compensation and Guest Incident Program
- Assist with the annual development of labor and P&L budgets for Dollywood and DSC Medical Services
- Ensure Dollywood and DSC Medical Services are staffed and operated within approved labor and P&L budgets
- Develop/revise training plans for Medical Services new hire screening process, drug and alcohol screening, job fairs, filing medical information, and other tasks as needed
- Coordinate with all SMC on Safety Critical Medication Disclosure forms and pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, and/or random drug screens and alcohol tests
- Annually plan and facilitate SMC Hearing Conservation Program and Pulmonary Function Testing for DW/DSC properties. Ensure all documentation is completed and filed per OSHA
- Audit and ensure weekly reviews of SID are completed for accurate, clear, concise input according to DW Medical Services Protocols
- Manage the Mold Program and ensure proper cleaning and remediation is completed
- Supervise monthly Training and ensure records are maintained for the EMTA or Paramedics. Ensure training documents are accurately completed, filed, and accessible for auditing
- Serve as Unit 101 (Safety Person in Charge)

Education and Experience Required
- Experience supervising a staff of at least 5 direct reports for one year is required
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Current state or National Registry Paramedic license required. Must provide copies of current certifications
- At least 5 years of field experience as a Paramedic is required
- Knowledge of and ability to use DW Medical Services equipment required
- Basic computer skills required, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Ability to learn and utilize the online scheduling program required (UKG)
- Must have the ability to read regulatory documents, manufacturer’s manuals, and government standards and interpret that information to develop training, emergency, operational, and documentation procedures
- Must be proficient in writing policies and procedures
- Must have ability to work in emergencies and coordinate immediate response actions, including total park evacuation
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid TN Driver’s License with current automobile insurance and be able to drive company vehicles as required
- Must successfully complete a background check including motor vehicle and pre-employment drug screen
